InterviewWithMrstrong

The Following is a voice-recorded interview conducted by Lynn Arasi with the Kindred who calls himself Mr. Strong.

Strong: “I don’t see the point of this.”
Arasi: “Just a little interview, no big deal. People are curious about you, they want to know about the Kindred that shape their night to night experiences.”
S: “I don’t shape shit.”
A: “Sure you do. Please, just a few questions?”
A long groan followed by a sigh
S: “Fine. Shoot.”
A: "Great! Ok, first question: What is your Goal for St. Paul?
A long silence follows
A: “Mr. Strong?”
S: “Goal. You speak as if we have some sort of long term plan.”
A: “You don’t?”
A shifting, grinding sound
S: “Maybe we do, maybe we don’t. Plans often require discretion, however. So I’d thank you not to inquire further.”
A: “I see. So how do you feel about this ‘no covenant’ policy?”
S: “Uh, fine. Do you have an important question to ask or are you wasting my time?”
A: “Of course not! Um…the sound of pages turning…What role do you feel you play in the city?”
S: “I don’t play, but I understand your question. I break people, pure and simple. When a skull needs to be crushed into powder, I’m there feeling it escape through the cracks in my fingers. I also make sure the Haunts of the city don’t go unnoticed.”
A: “Unnoticed?”
S: “The Nosferatu often find themselves marginalized. I make sure our voice is heard.”
A: “So you’re their Priscus?”
S: “I suppose so. Listen, I have other things I have to do tonight. Are we done?”
A: “Off to break skulls?”
S: “Yes. If you get in my way, yours is on the list.”
A: “It was nice speaking with you, Mr. Strong. Good Night.”
